Weddings

UCF would be honored to be a part of your special day!  We are an open and affirming church, and as such happily perform weddings for both LGBTQIA+ and heterosexual couples. You do not need to be a member of the church to be married here. We have a beautiful space for your ceremony and photos, and a fabulous music director ready to add his talents to your celebration.  We also have space for a celebration following your ceremony if you desire.

We are right on Route 5, only minutes from Syracuse with plenty of parking, as well as an accessible entrance.

Celebrations

UCF has a large Fellowship Hall perfect for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, and any other of life’s many reasons to celebrate!  You do not need to be a church member to utilize our space. With lots of natural light, ample tables and chairs available, and a full kitchen, UCF’s facilities are the perfect place to host your next celebration!

We are right on Route 5, only minutes from Syracuse with plenty of parking, as well as an accessible entrance.

Funerals and Memorial Services

UCF understands the importance of the solemn life events as well as the joyous. We would be honored to be part of the remembrance of your loved one. You do not need to be a church member to hold a funeral or memorial at UCF. Our fellowship hall and full kitchen offers a welcoming space for a celebration of life, whether following a memorial service or as a standalone event.

Women’s Lounge

Meetings

Looking for a space to hold a business meeting, book club, new mother’s group, fitness class, band rehearsal, dance club, sewing circle, cake decorating class, or any other awesome activity?  We love that!

Our Fellowship Hall, Beard Lounge and Women’s Lounge have lots of natural light, ample tables and chairs, and a full kitchen.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A: Yes! UCF has a large parking lot behind the building, accessible from Genesee street via the driveway that runs down the left (East) side of building. There is also a marked driveway that runs between the two houses at 114 and 118 Chapel Street.

  • A: Yes! UCF has an accessible lift at the foyer entrance adjacent to the Memorial Garden; this entrance can be accessed via the driveway off East Genesee Street that runs down the left (East) side of the building. There’s also a ramp on the right of the church near the front entrance and accessible restrooms on the main floor.

  • A: No, you do not need to be a member or even have attended previously in order to rent our space.

  • A: We’re happy to answer all your questions, give us a call or send an email.

  • A. Our lovely memorial garden area has a table and bench available for your use during warmer months.
